Vintage Photos 1969-1975

The photos you find here are the earliest known from Aberdeen Kenpo Karate. These memories are from 1969-1975 when Rick Warwick and Maria Warwick parted ways and Maria Warwick struck out on her own. Most of these are used courtesy of John Delia. Each of these photos has been watermarked to prevent the unethical from wanton theft of the images. If you would like to obtain a non-watermarked version of the image, please ask and we will most likely accommodate your request.

Ralph Castro visited Aberdeen, Washington in April of 1969 to promote several of the Warwick's karate students.

Rick Warwick poses for a photo with SGM Ed Parker. Notice Ed Parker's patch was prior to what has been called the "Executioner's patch" that was rolled out at the 1964 Internationals. That would make this photo more than 60 years old.
